1.    AB=5cm, BC= 2.1cm, Construct:  (i) AB+2BC         (ii)  AB-BC
2.    Draw a line segment AB of length 7 cm. Mark a point P outside the line segment.
           Draw a perpendicular from the point to the line segment.
3.    Construct PQ=10.4cm, divide the line segment into 4 equal parts by drawing line bisectors and give the measurement of its part.
4.    Construct 135° and its bisector.
5.    Construct 150° and its bisector.
6.    Construct concentric circles with diameters 6.8cm and 4.6cm. (Hint: first find radius of the circles )
7.    Draw PQ=7cm and mark a point M on it such that PM=3cm. Through point M draw a ray perpendicular to PQ.
8.    Find the area of a square with perimeter 68 cm. (Ans. 289cm2)
9.    The length of a rectangular plot of land is twice its breadth. If the perimeter of the plot is 450 m, then find its area.(Ans. 11250 sq.cm)
10.  The cost of flooring a room at Rs. 12 per sq m is Rs. 864. If length of a room is 6cm find the breadth of the room.(Ans. 12cm)
11.  Area of a square is 1024cm2, find its side.(Ans. 32cm)
12.  The area of a square of side 12 cm is the same as that of a rectangle of width 16 cm. find the perimeter of the rectangle.
13.  Seema wishes to lay a carpet in her room. Her room is 5m long and 2.5m wide. What will be the area of the carpet to cover the floor of the room?
14.  How many square tiles with side 5 cm can be fixed on a small surface whose length is 60 cm and breadth is 25 cm?
15.  Jack jogged around a square park with side 50m. If he takes 4 rounds, how much distance does he covered? Find the area of the park(Express in hectares). Also find the cost of leveling it at Rs.10 per sq m?
16.  Find the width of the cardboard if its area is 128 sq cm and its length is 16 cm.
17.  A rectangular courtyard is 35m long and 16m broad. What is the cost of fencing at the rate of Rs. 3.5per metre?
